Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of aidataparser.com and the AIDataParser API, operated by Bity LLC. By requesting an API key or calling the API, you agree to these terms.

The service

AIDataParser is a document-extraction API: you send a PDF or image, and it returns structured JSON extracted using a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude). It is provided on a credit basis — each processed document consumes credits from your account balance.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for having the legal right to submit any document you send through the API, and for complying with applicable law (including data protection law) for the data it contains.
• Keep your API key confidential. You're responsible for activity under your key.
• Don't use the service to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have authorization to share with a third-party AI provider.
• Don't attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the API beyond documented rate limits.

Credits & accuracy

New accounts receive free credits at signup. Credits are consumed per successfully processed document; failed extractions are not charged. Extraction results are AI-generated and may contain errors — review output before relying on it for decisions with legal, financial, or safety consequences. The confidence and review_needed fields in each response are provided to help you flag low-confidence extractions.

Availability

The service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service, or revoke API keys used in violation of these terms, at our discretion.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIDataParser and Bity LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the API, including decisions made based on extracted data.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the API after a change constitutes acceptance.
